Whether it’s faster to make your latte at home or picking one up at the local Starbucks is debatable, but which is cheaper is certainly not.
It’s amazing to see the price savings, isn’t it?
A retail latte is almost six times more!
I appreciate a good cup of coffee and I most certainly enjoying walking up the street to my local cafe for a morning cup of espresso, but six times more? What is it, exactly, that compels us to spend six times more for a cup of coffee, anyway?

We all do it, why?

Don’t forget to include the cost of the espresso machine as well as utilities, compared to gasoline, etc. The Breville barista express retails for $599, and that’s pretty steep…
Also, love the Cyberman verification. Keep up the good work.

Or you could drink espresso like most Italians and use a stovetop pot for $20 (http://www.amazon.com/Bene-Casa-17720-aluminum-espresso/dp/B000V6T22K/ref=sr_1_12?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1385977514&sr=1-12).

When visiting Italy earlier this year I loved dropping into cafes, throwing a Euro onto the counter and ordering an espresso.
Way cheaper than coffee in Australia and a fun experience to boot.
