I have an iPad and I have a Kindle Paperwhite.
I use them both, I love them both. I’ve tried, but I can’t seem to let go of either.
My iPad is bigger and I lets me take notes freely, while my Kindle is a pleasure to read on. Why can’t we have the best of both worlds?
Well, now we can. It’s called reMarkable and I just want them to shut up and take my money.
This device offers you all the convenience of reading and taking digital notes, but with the “paper feel” many of us like:
Take my money!
Not really, because it is too expensive. But if you have $429 USD to spend and don’t mind waiting until September, you can pre-order with a 40% discount here. The retail price for the tablet alone will be $529 USD.
Hopefully this kind of technology, larger “paper” tablets with faster input, will continue to develop and we’ll have more reasonable prices in the future. I’d certainly love to work with a tool like this on a daily basis!
