That’s pretty awesome stuff. The cloud is a huge advantage to this software.

Pretty cool, it sounds like the work happens on the web but there is still a mac/pc client for the presentation.

the software looks pretty cool. I requested a trial from their site.
The only problem I have is that the beginning of the video addresses a problem that no software is going to fix, no matter how “awesome” it is. Should pastors be handing audio engineers thumbdrives 20 mins before the service? no. Should volunteers be figuring out song lyrics the morning of? no, that doesn’t honor them.
I’m sure the program is pretty slick, and to be honest is heading in a direction most other software developers are (to the cloud).
No software is going to fix poor leadership and work ethic.

Absolutely.
And this just makes me wonder what happens if the Internet connection goes down or I suddenly have an issue with the network?
And if a church has their presentation PC networked, I fail to see how it’s a requirement to have things on a thumb drive – I routinely pull off the sermon and other required media from our network all the time. It’s been a struggle to get everything related to a Sunday in one folder each week, but that’s not a technology problem either 🙂
It looks interesting, but I am curious to see how they address some of my concerns.
And the perpetual monthly fee certainly isn’t that appealing either… but I will sign up for the free trial – why not? Who knows – it may make more sense than our current workflow!

It could be like dropbox where the client caches the files locally and then runs them there.
I agree though, I don’t think this will solve the last minute dumping and changes, but it does pull a creative collaborative work flow I would love to see more of! Maybe the act of switching software will inspire some to change their workflow!
