My favorite mobile prayer app just got better.
I am excited to announce that the Prayer Notebook app is now available for the iPad; and it’s on sale!
Both the iPad and iPhone versions are priced for only $0.99, a super great price for the best looking prayer app for iOS.

If, for whatever reason, you’re hesitant to jump on this fantastic app for the mere cost of a cheap cup of coffee, the Prayer Notebook is available in a free lite version.
However, if you’re serious about using technology to enrich your spiritual life, I would drop these guys a shout-out of encouragement and fork over your dollar while they’re offering it half-off. 😉

I’m not saying the app isn’t worth it, but I’m curious as to what benefits arrive from this app over a prayer folder/notebook in Evernote?
Eric Dye says
I think the biggest issue is ease of use. There are the password features, social networking integration as well as notifications. Evernote is designed to meet multiple needs in different ways, whereas this app is designed for one thing and one thing only. Think of this app as a specific sized socket, whereas Evernote is more like a pair of pliers (Did I just use tools as an analogy? Weird.).

The one feature that I am really hoping for out of these guys is the ability to have a shared prayer list, so that ‘circles’ could be allowed access a specific list ie: family, ministry groups, a prayer team or a whole church.

This sounds like a great idea!
