One of the essential tips of photography (whatever type of photography you are interested in) is to “what the background.” A inch here or there can be the difference between a great image and someone having something pointing out of their head (we’ve all done it).
A quick and easy way to improve your photos is to use a background.

While velour might not be perfect for taking a large group photo, it’s certainly an option for smaller photo-shoots that you might take and can help with staff head-shots for sure. It’s certainly cheap enough that it’s not going to bite you too much to give some a try.
