Technology is growing faster and faster.
Each piece of technology is placed over the previous layer, becoming bigger, faster and more forceful than the 10 years before … 5 years before … and 3 years before. I believe the technological developments have reached such a high velocity, that the marketplace has intentionally slowed down the release of some tech, so as to be sure to fully profit from each progressive step.
