Traffic is nothing to necessarily be proud of or ashamed of – it is what it is.
Everyone starts small and continues to grow. Some grow faster than others and some grow not-so-fast.
All good though, right?
So, the comments are open. How has your traffic been to your sites? Up, down, all-around?
For us, we’ve been experiencing some really great growth.

I’m all over the map. Here are the ones I really care about.
http://www.commuterservices.org (transportation demand management) is up 9.78%, probably due to the launch of a new bike sharing program at FSU.
http://podcast.fsunavigators.org (college ministry podcast) is down 2.13%, which is actually amazingly good considering there’s only been one episode since April.
http://jaledwith.com (personal site) is up a whopping 1,378.31%, due entirely to one post on how to get rid of the Twitter “Who to Follow” box.
My analysis: content is king.

All over the place. Numbers range from +86% to -48% (I told them they should update more). And a few N/As as well. Overall it’s +27%.

my traffic has been down on my personal blog. That is my own fault. I disappeard for a while.
Church site… eh.
Client sites – Smokin’ lately. I love my day to day job and seeing the basic things we bring to a site and how strategy will organically cause growth.

All my sites are doing well except one. We have a propensity to launch websites before really thinking long term about content. So naturally traffic suffers eventually. We’re getting better though.
I just started blogging again (it’s fun, who knew!?) and I’m trying hard not to keep too close of an eye on stats. Mostly because I’m personal blogging, and my antics in Europe just aren’t that interesting to people beyond friends/family.
And finally my work organization got some pretty good blog-world publicity earlier this month, so we’ve been enjoying the long tail of traffic from that.

As someone who loves being over-analytical… I love analytics, but I’m not sure how practical or useful the information is, especially since we don’t sell ads.

It’s been rockin’ lately for my blog! I’ve had a few big things happening this Summer that have created quite a draw. I typically have slow and steady growth, but the mission trip and other projects that I’ve been doing are causing quite a spike over the last couple of months.
