Have ever downloaded an app or resource from the Open Network, sponsored by Life.Church and their partners? Let me make this easier for you: yes, you have. If you’ve used the Bible App, you owe Life.Church and the Open Network.
This means that you’re one in a million…one in ten million, in fact.
Open Network has just announced that their resources have been downloaded ten million times!
That’s a huge milestone. I remember when I was excited to hit four hundred posts. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to publish one thousand posts on ChurchMag, let alone ten million!
Now, if you’ve only experienced Open Network through the Bible App, here are few of the types of resources offered by Open Network:
Apps
Church Metrics – “the leading free tool for tracking church data so you can make better, more informed ministry decisions.” – I tested this a few years ago, and it was pretty neat.
Church Online Platform – “This easy-to-use tool allows you to broadcast services, connect with people one-on-one through live prayer, share via social media, and host chat with attendees around the world who are seeking Jesus.”
Develop.Me – “…helps you create a culture of development in your church staff.” – My church staff has used this one off and on for two years. It’s definitely helpful.
Training
The Training section itself breaks down into numerous categories, of which, the Worship category might of considerable interest.
Resources
“Resources” is a broad category. What does it mean? Well, it includes artwork, songs, and even messages. Behind on getting prepared for Christmas? Open Church has your behind covered for the yuletide.
Seriously, I think I could spend hours digging through these resources, and I just might, once I submit this post.
