Python is great programming language and powers a number of major projects. As with any product, there are always things that we would like to see in addition just to give it that much more of an edge.
When it comes to stepping through Python source and/or examining the variables, a few MIT professors decided that was something to be desired, so they did something about it…

Specifically, it allows you to step through Python code and return a visualization of your variables, results etc.
The benefit of this is that you don’t have to worry about setting up any kind of quick development environment. On the other hand, if you just have some quick cut-and-paste code to test, you can do that here.
Check it out and play around with some of the example code they give you.
