Got the burnin’ for some kernin’? Check out csstypeset for a great online tool that helps you get your headlines/body/pullout quotes/etc. just right.
If you are new to web design, then I especially invite you to play with this website. It allows you to see the changes being made, in real time, as you hack around your CSS. What’s the difference between a font of size 48px versus 48em? 48 is 48, right? Visit the site and see for yourself.
I’ve seen plenty of these CSS3 and HTML Online Generators floating around but this clean and simple interface is top notch and gets a big high-five in my book.
Enjoy!

Thanks. This is exactly what I need to get the gumption up to edit and learn some basic css.

This looks tasty. I’ll have to try it out. I would love to see an interface for typesetting like this built into my IDE (Coda). Maybe someone here can build a Coda extension that does that.

Very cool. I’ll have to try this out. I’d love to have it built into my IDE (Coda).
I’ll give $5 to the person who develops a typesetting Coda extension.
Brian N. says
woops, I didn’t mean to comment twice
Jared Erickson says
do it for $5.50
developer says
$5? at that price you might as well learn how to code yourself and make the plugin instead of suggesting a legit developer to help you make money by copy and pasting like the hipster wed designer you are..
pathetic….
