Did you know that many web services offer discounts for nonprofits and churches (basically anyone with a 501c3)? At the church I work for, we didn’t realize that many of our favorite services offered nonprofit discounts.
I decided to do some research and tweeted at several companies for answers.
Here’s what I got:

We switched about a year ago to GoogleApps from DreamHost’s POP/IMAP email. Best decision we’ve ever made. Not a huge fan of Dreamhost’s product, though we’ve been with them for years. We feel that they have slow servers, in general, but didn’t know we’d qualify for free hosting. Have to look into that.
Thanks!

We’ve been using DreamHost as our hosting service for a little over a year now. There servers may be a bit slow, but for the amount of traffic we get it has never been an issue, and you can’t beat free! I’ll also say that the DH services have improved quite a bit over the past 6 months. Our down time has decreased drastically and the number of services they integrate with continues to increase.
I just switched our email over to Google Apps from DreamHost. We haven’t started to fully use them yet, but I’m gradually getting everyone comfortable using it. My main purpose behind the switch to Google Apps was the 30 GB of Drive storage per user, but the GMail services ended up having the biggest impact so far.

In the UK, hosting company LCN offer free ‘business’ hosting for registered charities. (It’s decent hosting, I’ve got a couple of charity clients with them!)
Microsoft also offer free and discounted versions of Office 365 for qualifying non profits.
All good stuff!

Sweet! Thanks for letting us know!

Our team offers a service to facilitate Google Ad Grant application, campaign-set-up and optimization for non-profits and churches. There are some nuances so that not all churches would qualify. You can contact me to chat more and see if you qualify.
