Today, Nintendo announced their newest home gaming console, the Nintendo Wii U.
A few days before presenting, they released a video — a preview of sorts — to introduce the world to the new Nintendo Wii U.

With this 30-minute introduction of the console, Nintendo used their E3 time to focus on the games being released on this generally anticipated, highly curious system. A very cleaver and creative tactic, I thought.
I surprised myself by actually watching the entire presentation! I was intrigued by Nintendo’s encore challenge of the gaming status quo. Getting back to their roots, Nintendo is more about a family Entertainment System than hardcore gaming. A direction that I think is healthy and unique. It’s like social gaming 2.0.
I like what I see.
How about you?

I’m just about to buy Xbox 360, I hope I won’t regret :-). I’ve been deciding between PS3 and Xbox, IMHO Wii have a pretty bad graphic and this new version looks like it’s not getting much better.
