I can’t tell you how many times in church ministry work have I heard:
“I found this on Google images, can you use this image to print on my stuff.”
And they say it like nobody else has ever heard of Google Images and they were the first ones to find that image! Raise your hand if this has ever happened to you?
And how many times were all those files “stolen” from somewhere else on the web and had such a bad resolution you had to tell the person, it wasn’t going to work for that image!
Here I did a quick search for a jungle:
Of course these are great pictures but how many of them are actually of a good enough quality and of those how many are legal for me to use?
Check out the new search engine for images and creative inspiration!
Niice
Look at all the images that niice came up with for Jungle and these are all available on dribbble. These are all available for purchase legally!
If I’m stuck trying to come up with an image for the topic our Pastor is talking about, I’ll go over to niice and type in some keywords to see what comes up! The nice thing is that if I find the perfect image, I can just purchase it right then!
What if the church had a search engine like Niice?
Lifechurch & creationswap do a pretty good job of this, but what if there were one central place where we, church folk, could grab inspiration from?

Looks awesome!!
Isn’t there a way to use images from Google Images legally too though? or no?

Unless you tweak your search settings to only find Creative Commons, but even then, you have to make sure you’re following the right guidelines as stated here.
That’s why I love using Compfight. 😀
