New York-based artist, J.R Schmidt, is a motion designer and 3D artist at the Google Creative Lab. His work is exceptionally creative, fantastical, and vibrantly colored, and these New-York-City-inspired art prints are no exception.
His Chrysler Hall and Brooklyn Bridge made of building blocks, and New York City which is seemingly built out of Legos, are all extensively detailed, brightly colored, and delightfully playful. They are very recognizable in the fact that they are places everyone has seen, whether in real life or in pictures or movies, and the material with which these places are seemingly built are also familiar, and nostalgic in a way, making these prints relatable.
You can purchase these art prints, or just really enjoy them up-close here, and if you want to see more of what he makes check this out.
I would definitely hang that Lego one in my house– wouldn’t you?
