Hello 2016!!!
I’m excited to see 2016 unfold. I am anxious to see how it unfolds for me personally, but also for ChurchMag.
2015 was ChurchMag’s greatest year. Not only for the number of pageviews and all that jazz, but for the first time, ChurchMag has a core team speaking into its direction and focus.
It’s dangerous to go alone – am I right?
ChurchMag has found its identity. Before ChurchMag’s acquisition in 2013, it was struggling to find it. For the year following, I was flying solo and like a complete n00b. It was certainly a transitional year, but during these years, the core ChurchMag team were planting their roots here.
And last year we finally began to really bloom…
And We Have A New Logo
There it is.
During the first quarter of 2016, we will be rolling out our new brand. Technically, I suppose, it’s not a re-branding as much as it as our logo catching up with what ChurchMag has become (we will be talking about this more on an upcoming podcast).
Little-by-little the old logo will disappear and this (along with its variants) will emerge – along with some website tweaks and more.
Finally, I want to thank the ChurchMag Team (and my wife) for helping craft our new look – and helping me not stopping with any of my earlier designs:
New Writers
A New Year and new logo wouldn’t be complete without new writers!?!
Like I hinted at before, there are more changes coming to ChurchMag early this year – cough Staff Writers cough – but new writers?
This is where you come in…
We are always looking for guest writers. The ChurchMag community is full of insightful, thoughtful, knowledge, and talented people – and we want to hear from you! In fact, we are also looking for some regular, dedicated writers who are interested in joining the Staff Writer ranks.
If you’re interested in writing one post, several posts, or becoming a ChurchMag Staff Writer this year, let’s talk
Maybe you’ve even written for us in the past and would like to step up your game? Email me. 😉

The new logo rocks.
I’m always tempted to submit to be a writer, but I’m at a loss when trying to come up with three solid ideas. One of these days though. . .
Eric Dye says

Hey Eric,
Good stuff, always loved CMag. Love your focus and you are right on with church technology. I’ve been gone for a bit, but I’m getting back into the swing of things with church tech real soon. Look for some blogs to be back on your site to approve my friend.
Blessings.
