Why in the world would you want to make your iPhone look like a Windows Phone 7?

I’ve had some very limited experience with the Windows 7 phone so I’ll let others do the talking but apparently the Kindle App is now available on Windows 7 and has gotten some good reviews.

Microsoft, you’re so progressive!
They’ve pushed out a BETA version of their Connector for the Mac (Windows Phone 7). You can’t check out the Zune store yet with it but you’re able to do much more than without it!

WordPress for Windows Phone 7 Released
WordPress announced the release of the Windows Phone 7 and the UI and feature set looks very attractive.
It’s also an Open Source application so you can feel free to jump in even further.

Envato, which has a slew of amazing technology blogs, has announced the opening of Windows and Android-specific properties that are going to house some great content.

I’ve Always Liked Acer, as a Computer Manufacturer
But Acer has recently confirmed that they will be making a mobile device housing the Windows Phone 7 OS. Here’s what CEO Gianfranco Lanci said about Acer’s strategy in regards to mobile:
We have a very simple strategy. We look at mobile as the biggest opportunity in terms of growth. We introduced a smartphone 18 months ago.
We are working on tablets. What we want to be is a global provider of mobile solutions–smartphone, tablet, netbook, notebook–any kind of mobile, going from content creation to content consumption.
I’ve always thought of Acer as an underdog of sorts and owned one (or two?) of their devices my entire life, more out of curiosity than need (who could pass up one of their netbooks?).
