I got a teal GameBoy Color when I was about seven years old, and I especially remember playing Kirby’s Tilt ‘n’ Tumble on it. One, because it was a clear-pink cartridge unlike all of the gray game cartridges that I had, and two, because I thought it was the coolest thing that moving the actual GameBoy made the little pinball go in whatever direction you wanted it to go.
I then later got a light-pink GameBoy Advance SP and my favorite game was Mario Kart Super Circuit because I could connect with my sister and her GameBoy and we could play at the same time, racing one another.
Next, my sister and I bought ourselves, Nintendo DSs. Mine was a pink Nintendo DS, and my sister and I loved the fact that we could message each other while sitting in the same room, and our favorite game was Animal Crossing.
So when I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw Meyo’s floral GameBoy pins, well, it was a scroll down memory lane.
These are super cute, nostalgic, creative, artful, and geeky all rolled into one. You can go order yourself one, or all three, of these Floral Boys here.
Meyo doesn’t only make these pins, but also lots of other artful and creative things which you might want to check out in her store, or maybe just follow her on Twitter or Instagram.
