As you can see, Media Fusion is not only affordable, but easy to use. Never has such a robust toolset been made available in this neat of a package. And I can’t express enough how affordable Media Fusion has made live streaming.
Just try the Media Fusion Broadcast bandwidth calculator and just watch the savings stack up:
Why would you pay $1.50/gb for a service that forces you into a long-term contract, when you could use Media Fusion for only .35 cents/gb and only be committed for one month at a time?
It’s a no-brainer!
I imagine other live streaming competitors are going to be scrambling to compete with what UpperRoom Technologies has created with this revolutionary service.
Pricing
[Click for Larger]

And if you have any doubt about Media Fusion being able to deliver this much awesome for this low of a price, you can test drive Media Fusion for 30 days at no charge or credit card required. That’s a $235 value and 500gb of free bandwidth!
The Media Fusion Mission
Media Fusion has been created by those who are passionate about the Church. They want to see hundreds, no, thousands of churches streaming on the web. They want to see churches of all sizes affordably provide online streaming. They are tired of seeing the Church overpay for bandwidth.

Hi Eric,
I’m a bit disappointed by this coverage. I don’t mean to complain, and I’m not looking for a scathing pros/cons review. It’s just that this title doesn’t seem quite accurate. Maybe you’re really excited about MediaFusion. But I feel like I’m missing it for my congregation.
While MediaFusion might be great and extremely affordable for some churches, saying that it’s “the most affordable live streaming EVER” is simply not going to be true for churches of every size and live streaming need. My church congregation may be small and only stream to a few families a month (so far at least), but we found a solution that can do what we need for much, much less than the $60/month starting point that would be very expensive for us right now. And according to comments on other posts, some readers have been able to do good-quality live streaming using AWS or YouTube Live for little or nothing (but admittedly, more time and effort to get it going each week):

I don’t mean to disparage MediaFusion or their efforts to provide streaming at competitive rates (for larger churches). I just want to be fair to any of my fellow readers that are new to live streaming and not give them the impression that this is their only and best option no matter what and that you need to be a mid-to-large sized congregation to start streaming. There are more affordable options than ever today. MediaFusion might in fact be be the most affordable solution for some churches’ needs. My needs are just different than that group.
Thanks!

Agreed. There may be CHEAPER ways to stream, but there’s the cost of time, man power and knowledge that not every church is blessed with. Setting up AWS and providing the feature set that Media Fusion provides is not for the faint of heart, and when you consider what you get for that $60 per month, it is very AFFORDABLE — especially when you contrast it with similar services. Comparing it to homegrown, custom built solutions is a bit of an apples and oranges comparison imho.

I tend to agree with Eric. We played around with AWS and wozza and it’s really not in the same ball park. It’s not a CDN. It may work for a few people but I am shocked at how low media fusion is charging for full HD with Akamai. I googled netflix charges they pay their CDN just for grins. The media fusion team pulled of some type of negotiation or they have a ton of churches. Also, podcasting is included and if I use what they call their “simulated live” features there’s no bandwidth charges. Our church has been looking and true “CDNs” like bright cove and 3:16 have kept us out of the market because they charge so much. We’re talking to these guys tomorrows. Seems like they have some big names behind them as well looking at their why us. Also, not sure of your church size but I think this would actually be a turn key for small ones without the budget. And you get the same stuff the big boys are using? For $60? Did you read about their encoding approach…I need one of those. Thanks BB
