How We Are Making Safer AI [Video]

Where are my people who were born in the 70s and 80s? Those of us grown up in the world of Terminator and RoboCop, our entire life we have been hearing about the debate of if computers are going to rule the world. We even saw movies that looked at what happened if we lost in the Matrix, though with a ton of sci-fi actin added in.

Of course, a dystopian future might be possible, but engineers are having these conversations as they create artificial intelligence. A recent TED Talk, Stuart Russell, an AI pioneer.

As you watch the video below, I want you to think of two questions from a Christian perspective. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Is making a great artificial intelligence like playing God?

Because of our limited wisdom and fallen nature, it is going to be our down fall?
