Remember the first time you figured out that you love to ___________.
What is it?
Computer code, graphic design, an instrument, video editing?
Maybe you’re like me and your profession includes much of what gives you joy. Things that you enjoy doing.
But even then, we can hit a point when the joy dissipates and even disappears. Something like this maybe:
- Maybe it’s because you’re burned out.
- Maybe it’s because you need some new sources of inspiration.
- Maybe it’s because you just don’t enjoy ‘doing’ what you ‘do.’
There are a host of things that can contribute to it.
Sometimes when I scrape up against this, I think it’s due to boredom. It’s not challenged enough or things have become far too easy and repetitive.
When you come to that place when ‘that’ joy is gone, it doesn’t mean you have to quit your job or start a new career path.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
I believe the best of the best professionals are those who can successfully navigate these ‘joyless’ periods and rekindle that original spark of passion that moved them towards __________ in the first place and fly higher than ever before.
Hang in there. You can do it. 😉
