Co-founder of Fireproof Ministries–the umbrella ministry of XXXchurch.com and others–is part of a team that is launching an online Church community called, Live Church.
Live Church seeks to reach people through the Internet while invoking change in real life.
From their website:
“We live in a world where people have never been more isolated yet simultaneously desire to experience deeper community. LIVE Church meets people in the isolation of the internet and connects them with others longing for community.”
Coming this September, Live Church will launch as the first, fully functioning, online church community.
Live Church
Here’s how Live Church will break down:
Online
Weekly interactive church services that will broadcast multiple timers throughout the week.
Groups
Mobile community groups that connect people with small groups of people throughout the world.
Mission
Faith in action, Live Church will connect people together to make a difference in the world.
Offline
By building a healthy online community, Live Church intends to impact the offline world.

Live Church is all about “global reach and local impact,” but they need your help to make this vision into a reality!
Here’s what they need people to do:
- Pray
- Serve
- Lead
- Give
Considering the impact that projects like XXXchurch.com has made, as well as withstood the test of time, I’m interested to see Live Church in the coming months and years.
Do you think Live Church will fulfill its mission?
Is this taking digital discipleship too far?
Is Live Church that much different than The Life App?
Will you be getting involved or support Live Church in any way?
