When it came to bags, I was usually a very messy girl. Most of the time, when I went to church or another place that didn’t require my full backpack, I just grabbed my phone and my iPad Mini and got in the car.
No keys (I don’t do the driving), no cash, no ID… It was bad.
And it can’t be safe going around with expensive gadgets in your hand, right? But I am really not the purse kind of girl. I tried to be, and sometimes I succeeded, but I just couldn’t make my self use one regularly.
Then I met Knomo, and I fell in love. Let me show you.
Knomad
If you need an organizer to carry all your gadgets with ease, Knomad is definitely for you. I bought it and I love it.
It was completely effortless for me to use.
Every day I carry what I need, and everything is in it’s place. As you can see on the video, it is designed for men and women. You can keep it in you backpack with your larger gadgets or carry it on its own, depending in what you need for the day.
Let’s take a closer look to it. I’ll show you the Knomad Mini, which is the one I got. There are larger versions for you to carry your iPad Air or your Surface, and you can also buy it in leather.
The Knomad is made with cotton canvas and a natural-raw leather trim where you rest your hand. The material is high quality and you can tell it is going to last. Measurements (according to website) are H18 x W25 x D2 cm. The hardware is made with antique brass. Very pretty! You can get it in various colors, but I got it in black with bright orange interior.
On the inside you’ll find many compartments for your gadgets, cards, keys, cables and more. The large compartments for your mobile and tablet are protected with microfibre. In this version of the Knomad you can fit an iPad Mini or another tablet of similar size. You have to consider it is specially designed for Apple’s tablet, though.
This is everything I can fit in my Knomad:
With everything in it’s place it looks like this. Please note I am forcing the Knomad a little bit. In the compartment that is supposed to only hold the iPad, I add a slim notebook. I need it for church so I do that on Sundays. I sometimes carry the charger plug in one of the elastic bands, and it closes fine (though it looks a little “bloated”). I try not to do it often because it forces the band too much, though.
If I go to a place where I am not going to need my iPad, I can add a book (not a thick one, of course). The Knomad is designed to carry a portable battery for your devices, which I didn’t buy, but it is supposed to go where I keep the red notebook.
The organizer also comes with an ID number you can register on the website. If someone nice finds your bag and wants to give it back, he or she can find you through www.knomo.com/myknomo.
I was really happy when I found this organizer (or, as they call it in the UK, organiser). It has really helped me to always have what I need close and neat. If you are looking for a place to store all your gadgets in a cool and portable way, this is a great option!
