For the best Internet experience, you have to stop using outdated broswers. Web technologies change at a rapid pace and it’s the only way to make sure you’re getting the most out of your web experience — not to mention web security.
Here’s a cool resource that both church ITs and web developers can use to make the World Wide Web a better place.
Check it:
Outdated Browser
Good name.
😉
For Church ITs
You can send your pastors, secretaries and church staff members a link to Outdated Browser to make sure they’re using the latest browser. If they’re not, the Outdated Browser website includes a download link.
Web Developers
Now things get fancy.
Outdated Browser includes a download package that you can easily add to any website!
Everything is included to easily add it into your project.
Now if someone lands on your website using an outdated browser, a link and info will appear at the top of the page:
Fancier!
😀
If you are a regular ChurchMag reader, you’re probably already navigating the web with the latest browser, but I am sure there are some people that would really benefit from visiting Outdated Browser.
What is your favorite browser?
Mine is Chrome.
[Thank you for the find SwissMiss!]

Do you know if there is easy integration into WordPress for this? Or is it just adding it to the header and all that jazz?
Eric Dye says
You could try searching the WordPress Plugin Directory, but if nothing turns up, you can easily add this into your WordPress template (in the header).
