In the process of nailing down a decent backup solution for multiple WordPress sites, I came across a new system that will be launching next month.
There are plenty of solid solutions in the marketplace, VaultPress being one; however, dropping $15 per site, per client, is not an option for me.
ManageWP is a very curious product, since backuping up your WordPress site is the least of what it does.

Historically, the entity known as the Church hasn’t always been a patron of sound scientific principles.

It is pretty nice, though, when you hear about Churches doing things that count, particularly when it is related to conservation. Myers Park Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC is doing just that.

Ever since the Automatic WordPress Backup broke, I’ve been on the hunt for a good backup system.
I found one plugin that was really close to getting the job done, but would crash when backing up larger blogs. This was a dangerous solution, since I had no idea if the backup file was bad unless I tried to open it. This is a situation you never want to find yourself in:
Your server died, and by the way, your backup is toast, too.
Besides, ideally I want to backup my entire server. Not all the sites I host are built on WordPress, so a plugin doesn’t quite do the trick, anyway.
