Ipseity Personal Branding WordPress Theme Launched

I’ve released into the “wild” the new Ipseity Personal Branding WordPress theme. I thought I’d post about it here as well since I believe it could be a powerful tool for you and your personal ministry online.

Personal branding is not necessarily a passion of mine but I find it extremely important in the online world. I’ve discussed a number of times how quickly someone, or some people, can hijack your brand, as a ministry or a person.

With a few clicks of the button someone’s personal thoughts can be published and receive top ratings on Google searches. One should take care of their name online and manage it effectively, not out of fear, but in terms of being the best steward possible of your online equity.

So, building a personal branding website is one way to manage it effectively. The Ipseity Personal Branding WordPress theme is what I’ve decided to do (and share) with the online community.

You can see an example here of my own: JohnSaddington.com.

If you can manage to get over the “this is just supporting my already-over-inflated ego” and understand the importance of managing your name and brand online, you’ll do something about it. It’s not important that you use the theme… it’s more important that you are aware and that you consider it thoughtfully and carefully.

That's sweet. I really like it. I've been rolling around a WordPress theme around in my head. Maybe I'll actually get it going now.

Once again thank you. I have been waiting for this since you posted mock ups and had the naming contest.

Thank you very much John, I'm using it for my personal site http://www.elenabenito.com…I was wondering if there's any way to modify the url, right now it shows #1 #2 and so on, but in terms of SEO I think it'd be better if it showed the permalink structure I chose (but it's not). Any ideas?
