Finally…
I believe that we can say with a high degree of certainty that the insanely popular image sharing application known as Instagram may not be an iOS-exclusive much longer. (Yes, I know it has been on its way to Android for a very, very long time, but still).
While chatting with TechCrunch, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom all but showed off a version of the app for Android, while pointing out that he felt it might be “better” than the iOS port.
Personally (and please don’t stone me here), while Instagram does intrigue me, most of its allure has eluded me. Still, I am happy more people (self included) will have access to the application.
27 million registered users cannot all be wrong, can they?
On another note, it seems like Instagram is the darling of tech investors, reportedly raising 8 figures in funding.
Are you eager to see Instagram come to other mobile platforms?

I’m with you Tre! My wife and her blogging friends love instagram but i uninstalled it after i never used it. I personally try to keep the amount of apps on my phone low and after a recent purge i’m down to 62.
