As a person who lived in Milwaukee as the art museum addition was put on it is impressive. I would highly recommend seeing it in person. The structure is right on Lake Michigan and is modeled after as sailing ship. The ‘wings’ that are visible in the photo above actually raise and lower to create a sun shield in the atrium below.
A great architect that uses his wonderful skills to give us beauty in form.
