The rumors are true.
I have moved from Instagram to Pressgram.
It wasn’t an easy decision, as I enjoy following friends and family; but Instagram’s Terms of Use are not appealing to me as they take ownership over my photos. Moreover, as digital giants move around their assets like chess pieces, the future of Instagram is as certain as any other.
So what happens to my photos then?
There are more reasons I’ve moved and why I think churches, ministries and non-profits could benefit from using Pressgram, but we’ll get to that later. 😉
With the release of Pressgram this week, I thought I would share a tool that makes retrieving all those Instagrams—that you took—back to where they belong: with you!
Here’s how to download Instagram photos:
Instaport
Whether you’re migrating from Instagram, like I have, or you simply want to download all your cool photos, you’re going to find this tool to be super easy.
- Choose what you want to export
- Download
- DONE!
You’re welcome. 😉

Eric, thanks for the info here. Saved to Evernote! 🙂
I have really been enjoying Pressgram and plan to use it for ministry as well. I have not left Instagram yet, but I am strongly considering it!

Indeed. Although I’ve said my goodbye to Instagram, I will keep my account as to follow those who won’t make the switch. It can be a great way to keep-up with particular friends and family.
