I’m going to be up front with you, 90% of why I am sharing this infographic with you is for the Star Wars fun that comes with it.
Do I think that LinkedIn should be utilized more? Yes.
But is it’s prominence in social media outside of a way to get a job really worth it? Probably not. (There are several groups in LinkedIn that see lots of discussions, but it’s extremely niche.)
Here are some points that they make (again… not sure it is really worth it, just super fun):
- 187 million active monthly users with 2 new people joining every second.
- 41% of visitors to LinkedIn come from mobile devices.
- 60% of people are not actively hiring, but an inquire and conversation could present itself if you put yourself out there.
Are you more inline with the infographic and think LinkedIn is worth it or are you stuck with me and not sure how you can get interested?
