Netflix has become massive in the US. It’s incredible.

I am sad that there is no decent comparable service available in the UK. I would be all over it! In fact, I think that the take-up in the UK would be pretty good. So, it’s a shame that someone isn’t getting their act together, they are missing a killing!

Talking of a killing, due to the rise in popularity of Netflix in the US, certain video shops have taken a big hit, namely Blockbuster.

    Blockbuster got a 1-2 punch. Netflix softened up Blockbuster by taking away the heavy users of DVDs, then Redbox finished them off by taking away the casual users. Redbox is easy, cheap and ubiquitous.

      Good point Bill! i see people lining up for redbox on tuesdays when the new releases come out and fridays for weekend movie times.
