This weekend I realized how ridiculously cluttered my iPhone is with apps that I rarely use.
Seriously tragic.
Of the 40 or so apps that I have installed I probably use 4 to 5 of them daily and up to 8 of them weekly.
So on a “busy” week I might use 20% of the apps that I’ve got on there. Wow. What a waste!
So how about you?
I had a second question which made me cry a little when I thought about it: The amount of money that’s been spent on apps that’s been wasted too…!
DOH!

Ive spent $0 (American) on apps so far. A healthy (okay, OCD) scouring of the free apps section and a complete lack of money have kept me from getting anything too fancy, but have also nabbed me some pretty nice things that went on sale for free.
So, I have spent no money in the App Store. I rarely use any apps. You could make the case my low investment in apps is analogous to my low usage of the 160 or so Ive installed and/or used.

Yikes, I must be a really clean iPhone user. I go through my phone once a week if not more and clean off the junk. If I haven’t touched it in a week, I won’t touch it again. With that said, all purchases are backed up on the iMac so I am all good if I feel the need again.
Same thing on the iPad, once I get it back from my daughters!

I see you are also a fan of Angry Birds. I LOVE that stupid app – I can’t stop playing until I get 3 stars on every level. 🙂
I agree with your post; it’s time to clean up those apps. Happy Memorial Day!

The real question is, “What are those 8 apps?”
