I received an email from Paul Lamb last night mentioning a new conference happening in March of this year: Theology After Google, or TAG for short.
Honestly, I was a bit confused at first about how exactly that made sense but I “got it” after I read this blurb:
… hence the urgent need for a conference to empower pastors, laypeople, and the up-and-coming theologians of the next generation to do “theology after Google,” theology for a Google-shaped world.
Ah. I got it. You mean theology today, just like it was yesterday, and just like it’ll be tomorrow, and the next…
Ok. I’m being silly.
Anyways, I’m not going to be able to make it but I’d love for someone to make it out and live blog it; hey, I’ll even pay for your registration if you go!
Seriously.
Make sure you use the name “Paul Lamb” and you’ll get $5 bucks off.
Booya.

Would. But CA is a bit far from MO 😉
Granted, not as far as it is from GA…but still.

it’s another planet.

Ditto on the whole California thing being kind of far from MO.
I would be interested in doing it though if I was there.

Love how they just use the Google logo, I’m sure that’s going to fly well with Google.
John Saddington says
yeah…

Google has made information ubiquitous. Now more than ever, Pastors need to come “up to speed” and how new technology is shaping the way that young people (and older alike) are receiving their information. I think the conference will be a hit!
