I had a nice little tweet chat with someone on why Google+ was where you wanted to be. They gave the classic “I tried but it didn’t work” excuse. After a few tweets exchange, it became crystal clear what was going wrong.
Google+ is about relationships and if you approach it like you do on Facebook or Twitter, you are not going to find success. Google+ is a great marketing tool, but if you only care about taking and not giving, then do not expect to find any success.
That is one of my many tips I have for you, but I have some more from the infographic below:

Here are three ways to capitalize on Google+.
- Google+ directly impacts search results through social signals and thus increase your page rank. The infographic believes that within five years, every business will have a G+ page. Churches, get ahead of the curve for once. Please.
- Google+ is more than just a place to update your status. Connect your website for Google+ Authority, use Hangouts, and put the +1 button on your website.
- Push for 80/20 posting. 80% entertainment (or consumable) content and only 20% promotional content. I would add, if you want comments, comment on others. If you want +1s, go +1 other people’s posts.
