Rend Collective is one of those bands that would continually pop up on my radar, earn a slot in my playlist, but never reach heavy rotation on my music app. I’m not sure why as they are phenomenal artists and songwriters, but for whatever reason, that’s who it went for years.
But no longer! With their latest release, Rend Collective has not only earned a permanent place in my playlist but has also astounded, uplifted, and even rescued me from the vortex of negativity that I feel like this world has become over the past year. Good News isn’t just a collection of audible good vibes. It’s a strong, musically talented effort that will remain fresh for years to come. The is the kind of music that the Church should be making!

When I first sat down to listen to this, I had to fight myself to listen to the whole album, not because it was hard to listen to but because it was hard to move on from so many of the songs! “Resurrection Day” has quickly become one of my personal anthems, and there are several other that I loved.

This album is an exuberant, triumphant reminder of the good news of Jesus. It’s the album I needed right now, and I bet you need it, too. To put it bluntly: I’m sick of hearing about bad news and fake news. Thank God for His good news, and thank Rend Collective for this amazing album!
Rend Collective’s Good News is all the news I need, and I rate it…
