May is going to be a good month with tons of great conferences and gatherings taking place. One in particular has really grabbed my attention and that is the Whiteboard Sessions by Jason Young, who assumed the role of Director from Ben Arment last year.
May 11th is that day and the idea behind the event is that great ideas have zero value until you build strategy and execute. It’s a “a one-day idea think-tank designed to help you discover and execute ideas.”
Sounds good to me, and we’re giving away 3 tickets there!
All you have to do is the following:
- Comment on this post about an idea you have that you’d love some help executing on!
- Tweet this post for another “ticket” into the competition.
- Wait (and pray?).
Cheers!

Looking to create a social media ministry incl. blog,w bible study and discussions, facebook with prayer requests, twitter with motivation and inspiration, website to integrate and inform. This would be combined with a ministry to support persecuted christians and motivate US and global leadership to consider their plight in foreign policy decisions.

I have been involved in leading worship for a contemporary service within a mega church in Florida. I also get to work with student ministry bands & worship leaders. I have been working on developing a plan/method for mentoring the next generation of worship leaders/singers/musicians of the church. I’d love to go to this conference and get the wheels turning faster!

I’ve been thinking about a more comprehensive outreach strategy. Usually outreach consists of either in person visitation OR social media interaction. Why can’t it be both? Shouldn’t it be both? I’d love help putting it all together.

I’m praying about how to network with other area pastors to unite our churches around a singular vision and working together. Too many churches do too much “half way” because they do it on their own – why not work together!?
