GitHub for Mac is here!
The easiest way for you to share code with GitHub – on the Mac.
- Browse History
- Commit Changes
- Share Code on github.com
- Sync Branches
Simply click ‘Sync Branch’ and GitHub for Mac will push your changes to GitHub while simultaneously pulling down other user changes. GitHub for Mac also notifies you when you have changes you haven’t pushed or new changes you haven’t pulled down. - Clone Repositories
Whenever you want to add a repository to GitHub for Mac, it automatically matches it with any organizations you belong to. - Simple and Powerful Branching
GitHub for Mac makes it easy to try remote branches, create new local branches and publish branches you want to share.
It’s for the Mac, so of course, it looks so pretty:

Changing branches automatically stashes any changes until you switch back to the branch — switch branches with wild abandon. If you need to publish branches to GitHub, create a new branch, merge branches, or delete branches switch on over to the branches tab.
GitHub for Mac is impressive.
Download the latest version from the GitHub for Mac website, and start sharing code like never before!
