There’s been enough hubbub over video calling technology, limitations and advantages, and how to do it well over 3G. We even had a post yesterday about another app that supposedly said that they could do it.
Didn’t work so well after testing it.
But here’s another that’s got a more established name out there and perhaps a better and more robust product:
Fring recently updated their software and has made a public announcement that “you don’t have to jailbreak anything” to get some good 3G video chatting.
I’d agree. This software worked a bit better than the last one.
But you know, competition is a good thing and it’ll spur innovation. Eventually we’ll have a perfect one, right?

Surprising that you say that. I thought My3G looked great in testing on 3g, whereas fring was terrible quality and the audio lagged 5 or more seconds.
