I’ve benefited from the generosity of so many creatives within the context of ministry. Whether it was downloading a series graphic from a church that gives away all their design elements or it was receiving help important files into Gimp by sending out a general request on Twitter.
So, every once in awhile, I try to look through my files and find something that might be useful for someone else. Today, I am giving away a customizable Keynote template that we use for our regular announcements before and after our weekly services.
Good question. When I worked at a church, we used to have our graphic designer create slides that matched our current sermon series. They were then imported into ProPresenter and we create a loop there. However, in my new role with a campus ministry, I decided to go with Keynote because I am far more proficient at it than I am Photoshop and changes can be made more easily since we actually use Keynote to display the slides.
With ProPresenter, we had to use a series of images which worked but involved a few extra steps. (If you use ProPresenter, you could edit this template and export as images so that you could manage all your service elements within one program if you so desired.)
All of the fonts used are licensed for commercial use and you can download them via FontSquirrel.com. We used Caviar Dreams and Permanent Marker. The social icons are also commercial use, although I don’t remember where I got them from. Of course, the pictures are just there as a placeholder, and I ask that you insert your own.
You can download it directly via this Dropbox link. If you plan on using it, I’d love to hear from you!
