The death of George Floyd has moved the discussion of racism up on our agenda. It has been a catalyst, even a reminder for some of us in the Church to pay attention to the injustice of racism. In response to some of the discussions that have come up a some individuals and organisations are giving free anti-racism resources for the church. Here are some of the ones we’re aware of:
Note: we don’t endorse or take a stance based on the resources we’re sharing with you. Our hope is to make you aware of what’s available. Use your discretion as you filter this through Scripture.

In case you haven’t already, listen to this podcast episode. Disclaimer: we’re not experts on the subject. This was our attempt to process and wrestle with how we, as individuals and the church, should or could engage with the racism.
From The Verge Network
The Verge Network has two resources I’d like to highlight:
Race In America
This Masterclass aims to give background, history and give practical guidance on what to do for racial justice.
Practical Steps To Racial Justice
The brief description of this course on the Verge website reads:
A practical guide to pursuing gospel-centered racial justice.
Racial Justice Series
This is a series of conversations, talks and panel discussions put together by the Verge team over the last few years. Though some may be from a few years ago, the discussions are still relevant.
See the collection of these talks and discussions here, or the YouTube playlist below.
From Lausanne Movement
Over the years, the Lausanne Movement has developed some resources, and from them they’ve curated it all in one place. There are series of talks, articles and declarations that you might find helpful.
These are only a few. Are there any other free anti-racism resources for the church you’re aware of? Please share in the comments below.
