According to BBC news, researchers in Canada have created a prototype flexible smartphone made from electronic paper!
Apparently the device would be responsive to being bent, folded, and drawn-on with a special pen.
This sounds like a kind of CRAZY interface to me. Is this one step too far? To me it seems to be, but when the iPad first came out I was dead against it and now I love my iPad!
The creator, Dr Roel Vertegaal, seems hopeful, saying:
Everything is going to look and feel like this within five years
The prototype is made from the same eInk technology as the Amazon Kindle.

What do you think? Does this have value in it?
Dustin W. Stout says
I don’t know about this one… it kinda de-coolifies the gadget aspect of a smartphone.
