Firefox 4 was made available by Mozilla, this week.
After just 24 hours, Firefox 4 passed 5 million downloads!
Last week, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 made its own splash, but it wasn’t the cannonball Mozilla made.
Microsoft reported 2.35 million in the first 24 hours.
Ouch.
Mozilla has an awesome real-time download counter; you have to go see it!

Been using it since beta 1. It is my main browser for lots of reasons. Loving it!

That is awesome! I love me some Firefox and it for all my wordpressing. But I’ve been using Chrome for everything else. Chrome is still faster than FX4 on my MacBook Pro.

I ran into the same thing. I really like the Chrome-ish look of Firefox 4, they did a really nice job with it, plus, I like the tab grouping, pinning, thing – whatever they call it.
Chrome does have a speed edge, though.
