Porn is not a new issue within the Internet. If you work with technology, you know a lot of the statistics about it. (If not, we will be sharing a couple of infographics in coming weeks about it) There are several studies, anonymous groups for people struggling with porn addictions, and software to help you out. None of this is new. And that is what concerns me, because many Christians are still stuck in this trap.
Within the church tech realm, we know how to “cover our tracks,” get around security, and have way too much time with technology that we are tempted. But I want to start the fight back now.
I’m actually joining my friend Eric Dye of Churchmag who has been posting intentional posts against this and we are joining the ranks. This is going to be the launch page of several future articles that you can see below and hopefully catch when they come out.

This will be an ever expanding list (and hopefully other contributors will join in too) and we will not let it go. I hate seeing brothers and sisters fall because of boredom, emotional wounds, and carelessness. I am pushing for standards beyond just “try and it’ll be okay” to the point that you need to step up against it or step down from church leadership. Will you join in?
What do you think? Is this just another pointless cause or are you sick and tired of it and willing to join the fight?
