This is a pretty neat find: Fedena, an open source software management tool gives you the power to control your school’s databases, management, and tools to organize activities.
It’s apparently an ideal solution for schools, universities, and other such institutions that want to manage campus records. This might be ideal for you if you’re a school/campus administrator as well (but you’ll need to contact them to help setup an account).
It’s open source so you won’t pay anything to use their basic system.

I hadn’t heard of this one yet. It’s good to see open source pushing into new markets.

I visited your blog at http://www.opensourcechurch.com – Great idea!
Not to offence you… But I was very disappointed because there’s no post archive and a search box (I wanted to search for a certain phrase across the blog as well as browse the past archives).
Which I believe heavily reduces the usability of your blog. Please consider improving it a little more… And I want to come back and be blessed by the load of knowledge you have in there…

Hey! Thanks for taking a look! I appreciate the feedback.
Leaving the search and archive off was actually a purposeful decision. I usually don’t find the search utilities as helpful as google (you can add “site:somedomainname.com” to search only within one site on google). However, I realize that may not be common knowledge so I added the search widget back in over the weekend. I also added the categories in.
My main plan was to have people use the tag cloud as the only way to search through the archive. Check out some of the links and see if anything is close to what you are looking for.
Also, I just started the blog a little over a month ago so I’m still in process of building out the “load of knowledge”. If you are looking for something specific that isn’t there, let me know and I’ll try to add it soon. Any feedback I can get is great and is really crucial at this stage.
Thanks again for helping me out by taking a look!

The Web School community edition has been made available to the public, and anyone can download this version from our site and get an idea about all the basic features offered by this software. We have made it open source so that if anyone is interested they can better the coding of the software. http://sourceforge.net/projects/webschoolerp/

Thanks a lot for sharing such extensive information about Fedena and its functionalities. Being from the education sector myself makes me confident in saying that it’s really hard to choose a suitable software solution these days. I don’t know much about Fedena, but I sure have been using Archivist Online for the past 5 years. So far it has fulfilled all my requirements with utmost proficiency. If anyone’s interested, he/she can also give it a try. It may solve your administrative problems as well.

Hi! I had a question with regards to Fedena, the open-source software management tool. Since it is open-source, is it completely free? Or It has some charges? Currently, I am using schoollog school management software and it is paid.
