My wife loves hashtags.
If she’s got any characters left after the first (sometimes second) hashtag, she’ll usually ad another.
I admit it, they’re usually pretty cleaver. It’s got nothing to do with gaining followers (she has a private account) or anything, they’re just fun.
What are some of your favorite hashtags?
Let me tell you a few of mine:
- #truestory
- #HEART
- #dowork
After taking a look at my own timeline, I apparently use #WINNING, #LOL and #FAIL quite a bit, too. Although these have become more of the ‘norm’ or ‘Tweetspeak’ than anything else. Lots of people use these.
So tell me, what are some of your favorite hashtags?
They can be one time hashtags or those you use all the time.
Share as many as you like, and if you Tweet your favorite hashtags to us (@ChurchMag), we’ll embed your Tweet into this post!

I’ve recently started using #ahsnap a good bit
#twitterdiet is something I use for when I start losing weight on twitter
#oldschoolcartoons is one I also started using based on which cartoons I’d still watch if they were on now…like Ronin Warriors.
#reindeersrule – just kidd’n. #buttheydo

I rarely use #hashtags. Most of them time I’m too wordy on twitter to have room for that one extra character. But, I’m still having trouble seeing the point exactly. At least for search purposes. I can see that it might be fun to come up with some creative ones…. #whyhashtags? LOL
