I’m always on the lookout for great examples of design and development as it pertains to Internet/Online Campuses.
Someone passed me a link a little while back that was another great example: Faith Promise.
Check out these screens:
The site currently uses geolocation to display a map of all the people watching around the world, as well as the ability to chat with staff and other viewers, request prayer, and even turn down the lights, clearing everything off the screen to allow the user to really focus on the message being delivered.
Pretty sweet!
They are using an installation of BBPress for their support system:
Finally, they are using FellowshipOne for their Church Management System and their giving specifically:

John, thanks for the great writeup. We had a very specific list of interface requirements that we wanted to accomplish with this redesign, and LiftUX was a great help.
Along with the geolocation, we integrated a new chat room that didn’t require a login and could run without relying on Java or Flash. These enhancements have gone a long way to improve people’s connection and interaction.
I also recently started our first online small group. Excited to see this multiply into many groups.
