It seems that someone has gotten wiser!
Facebook has announced that it’s added HTTPS (use of SSL/TLS encryption) to secure it’s site again things like Firesheep via cookies in your browser.
Currently though it’s not on by default which means that most users, for the time being, will not know anything about it.
To activate it just head to “Advanced Security Features” and find it under “Account Security”.
Whew. Thank goodness. Now nobody can post on my wall for me (since I do that so often).
