Big data is growing at an incredible rate. It’s growing four times faster than the world’s economy! If that keeps up, we won’t be able to afford to store our own data.
In fact, 90% of the world’s data has been created in the past two years. That’s a lot in a short amount of time and it would seem as though it’s showing no signs of slowing down. And to make matters worse, 90% of the data being generated isn’t organized in any way. These are tweets, photos and user history.
