We constantly push for ministry leaders and churches to look at all of the different ways of engaging a community that they have influence in and consider if blogging is a real viable option for their ministry. Hopefully you already a church website with the basic details: your location, the church staff with a photograph, service times, and a basic level of ministries that you offer throughout the year. It should be simple to setup and then update it once or twice a quarter. A blog on the other hand is much more of a commitment, but the reward is phenomenal.
Our eBook, “Practical Blogging: 52 Blog Post Ideas for Churches,” comes out later this year. We constantly push for ministry leaders to come up with great content, have intentionality with your posts that directly impact your ministry, see youth workers do this successfully. To prepare for the eBook’s release, we want to give you four blogging stats to set you up for success with engaging with students. Then go to http://www.78p.tv/ebook to get even more tips. Here are the four facts from the infographic:
- Those who blogged at least 20 times per month had 5 times more traffic than those who blogged less than 4 times per month.
- 60% of cosumers feel more positive about a company after reading custom content on its site.
- The average company that blogs generates 55% more website visitors, 97% more inbound links, and 434% more indexed pages.
- 37% of marketers say blogs are the most valuable type of content marketing.
