The thing I like about this is that the target audience will (at least, most likely) instantly recognize the look and feel of the newsletter and, as such, know where to look for the specific information. .
For example, the schedule in the timeline, the 'about' information in the biography section, and the 'meta' information (for lack of a better term) in the navigation section.
