In my non-verbal communication class back in college, we studied about the power of color and the meanings it conveys.
Color is far more powerful than we give it credit for.
So, when your designing a website or putting together a logo, don’t let ‘taste’ and ‘preference’ be the ultimate decision maker. You may want to consider the following psychological effects of color:

I use orange, white, and black on all of my sites…and with good reason…they were my college and high school colors and I like them 🙂 I’m glad they make me look like a skinny, energetic doctor.
